The development of our society requires a solid financial system, which is why Colombian regulations require all financial entities to carry out financial education programs for society. Itaú was conducting a course aimed at the most operational (basic) levels of the group, so that employees could learn to better distribute their expenses. The challenge was to take the course to a virtual medium, and keep it as fun, impactful and successful as possible.
We develop a 100% online program, with characters, stories, cases, and activities that allows people to know how to distribute their income reasonably, according to their personal and family goals.
The course includes interactive activities and case analysis, which provide information from each person on the way in which they distribute their expenses, which is useful for the Bank to design new products and allows us to have information for the development of additional training programs.
67% of the Bank's employees carried out the program and during the last year a 22% decrease in their consumer debts and an increase of 17% in savings products have been identified.
From the development of this program, we decided to create the line of training in Financial Education to positively impact the dynamics of banking in our country.
